  1. Wrap the paper or string around the base of your finger (where the ring will sit)
  2. Make sure the paper can pass over the knuckle smoothly (knuckles are typically wider)
  3. Mark the overlapping point with the marker
  4. Unwrap and measure the length between marks with a ruler (mm)

Pro Tip: Measure in the evening (fingers expand with heat), and avoid measuring when your fingers are cold. If your knuckle is significantly wider than the base, measure both and consider adjustable rings.
