The perfect ring starts with precise measurement

Ring Size Measurement Guide

Choosing the right ring size is essential for a comfortable fit. Please follow the steps below to accurately measure your finger size and refer to our US ring size chart.

How to Measure Your Finger

1

Prepare Tools

You will need:

  • A strip of paper or string no wider than 5mm
  • Scissors
  • Ruler (in millimeters)
  • Marker

2

Measure Finger Circumference

Select the finger you will wear the ring on (usually the ring finger):

  1. Wrap the paper or string around the base of your finger (where the ring will sit)
  2. Make sure the paper can pass over the knuckle smoothly (knuckles are typically wider)
  3. Mark the overlapping point with the marker
  4. Unwrap and measure the length between marks with a ruler (mm)

Pro Tip: Measure in the evening (fingers expand with heat), and avoid measuring when your fingers are cold. If your knuckle is significantly wider than the base, measure both and consider adjustable rings.

3

Refer to Size Chart

Use the circumference (in mm) you measured to find the corresponding US ring size below:

US Size Circumference (mm) Diameter (mm) Common Fit
4 46.5 14.8 Petite female pinky
5 49.3 15.7 Female pinky / slender ring finger
6 52.0 16.5 Standard female ring finger
7 54.7 17.4 Most common female size
8 57.5 18.3 Slightly thicker female finger / male pinky
9 60.2 19.1 Common male ring finger
10 62.9 20.0 Most common male size
11 65.7 20.9 Thick male fingers
12 68.4 21.8 Very thick male fingers

Note: For wide rings (over 6mm), it's recommended to go half a size up. Since different fingers have different sizes, measure each separately.

4

Verify Your Size

To ensure accuracy:

  • Measure 2–3 times on different days and average the result
  • Visit a local jeweler for professional measurement
  • Consider seasonal changes (fingers may swell in summer)
